Reverse recruiting · candidate-controlled

Stop applying.
Start getting recruited.

Create one profile. When you choose to be visible, interested employers have to show the role, compensation, interview process, timeline, and why they picked you before asking for your time.

Your profile starts private. Live marketplace results contain real, opted-in PitchMe users only. Fictional examples are labeled as samples.

The standard: clear compensation, process, timeline, and decision criteria before a candidate invests more time.

The problem

Job applications put almost all of the work on the candidate.

PitchMe tests a different direction: candidates publish only what they choose, and interested employers make the first case for the opportunity.

A common application flow

  1. 1Find a job listing
  2. 2Create another account
  3. 3Upload a résumé
  4. 4Re-enter résumé details
  5. 5Answer screening questions
  6. 6Wait for a response

The candidate starts the process and carries most of the upfront effort.

PitchMe

  1. 1Create your profile once
  2. 2Choose whether it is public
  3. 3Companies browse opted-in profiles
  4. 4They send a structured opportunity
  5. 5You decide how to respond

The goal: make the opportunity clear before a candidate spends time pursuing it.

What buyers and candidates keep asking for

Less ambiguity before the next step.

Clear expectations

Show compensation, process, timeline, and why the person was selected.

Real choice

Keep profiles private by default and make Interested, Maybe, and Pass meaningful.

No wasted motion

Let both sides decide whether the opportunity is worth a conversation before investing more time.

How it works

Four steps. Candidate-controlled from the start.

01

Build a concise profile

Add your name, current title, location, and a headline that explains the work you do best.

02

Choose your visibility

Keep the profile private, or opt into Browse Talent. You can separately decide whether you're open to pitches.

03

Employers pitch the role

A pitch includes the role, compensation, work style, why you were selected, interview process, timeline, and contact email.

04

You decide

The opportunity lands in your private dashboard, where you can mark Interested, Maybe, or Pass.

For candidates

Control what employers can see and when they can reach you.

  • Private by default

Your profile does not enter Browse Talent until you explicitly publish it.

  • Compensation in the pitch

Employers must enter compensation or rate information before sending an opportunity.

  • You control availability

Keep a public profile while turning off new pitches, or make the profile private entirely.

  • Simple responses

Review opportunities in your private dashboard and mark Interested, Maybe, or Pass.

Create My Profile

For employers

Start with people who chose to be discoverable.

  • Browse real opt-in profiles

Live search results come from real PitchMe users who chose to publish their profiles.

  • Only genuine profile fields

The marketplace displays only information candidates actually entered — no invented résumé details.

  • Lead with a structured pitch

Send the role, pay, work style, process, timeline, and a specific reason for reaching out.

  • Reach people open to hearing from you

The pitch form only lists public candidates who currently have Open to offers enabled.

Find Talent

For hiring teams

A better first message than “Are you open to a quick call?”

PitchMe asks employers to put the important information in front of the candidate before asking for attention.
